A 1995 graduate of St. Margaret's, Sarah Wilson returned to her alma mater in 2009 as the Director of Development. In her role, Sarah leads the development and alumnae office and is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of the development program. Raising money for St. Margaret's and making alumnae connections is a professional dream come true for Sarah. She says, "It's not often that someone is given the gift to use their professional expertise to support a mission so near and dear to their heart. Returning to work at St. Margaret's has given me the opportunity to do just that."

Prior to St. Margaret's, Sarah worked in fundraising with nonprofit organizations for 8 years and was an active member on the St. Margaret's Alumnae Board. Sarah's first job was working in the Admissions Office for two summers in high school; she has truly come full circle! Outside of her St. Margaret's responsibilities, Sarah volunteers on the Aylett Country Day School Board and the Friends of Cliff Asbury Board.

Sarah is a native of Tappahannock and former grey team captain. She says that returning to St. Margaret's and being involved with the campus community feels like coming back home.
