Spring Family Weekend will feature a fun and innovative fund raiser by the Parents Council.... an exciting Rubber Duck Derby on the Rappahannock River. The Rubber Duck Adoption program is now open!

On Saturday May 14th, following the Crew Regatta on Saturday at 10:00, a thousand Rubber Ducks identified with your personal number will be released on the Rappahannock River and follow a course dictated by tide and wind. The first three winners will be awarded prizes:

First:       50 inch Flat Screen HD TV
Second:  IPod Nano
Third:     12 MB Digital Camera

There is no limit on the number of Ducks you can adopt!

Rubber Ducks are $5 each with discounts for Duck Packs as follows:
     The Quack Pack - 6 ducks for $25 ( 1 free )
     The Waddle Pack - 12 ducks for $50 ( 2 free )
     The Grand Pack - 25 ducks for $100 ( 5 free )

All proceeds benefit St. Margarets School parent council projects. Over the last two years projects have included sports field scoreboard, shared bikes on campus, uniforms for the crew team, microphones and sound system for the gym, vocational materials for the library, golf bags for the golf team.
